Trauma says that the future is a replication of the past. This is a myth. The future is never exactly the same as the past. On a molecular level there is replication of purity of substance, however there is constant change in positions as molecules collide with each other. Even if more than one moment were to be experienced as indistinguishable, the environment of the moment has changed as the colliding molecules are in constant motion. The environment is always ever changing. Therefore future as replication is not possible.Â
The future is not a replication of the past. The future is a repetition of the past. Inherent in all repetition is an iteration. The iteration is the compossible made actual. The iteration is the difference between two moments that always exists wether or not this difference is in our conscious awareness.
When you focus on the parts of the repetition that are the same (similar) you are limiting your perception to how things were. Your perception in this sense is less present to the ever flowing compossible future. The iteration will be less pronounced and you will manifest a compossible future that is a less noticeably different. Traumatic response is likely to thrive in this environment.
Focusing on the iteration allows you to have more influence over the compossible and help facilitate the creation of a future reality that is more distinct from the past. The healing of past trauma is the ability to not be biologically convinced that the future will be replication. Your consciousness can either reinforce your biological wound or it can relieve it to the point of healing over time.
When you are able to focus on the iteration you are more present with the compossible. You have open perspective to what is happening now and you have influence over what is becoming. This is your view into the future. The imaginative compossible!
The practice of the imaginative compossible will strengthen you conscious ability towards healing. Practically speaking, if you can realize you are viewing life through the limited perspective that the future is a replication of the past, you can then call out:
“The future is not a replication! The future is a repetition! Where is the iteration?”
Saying this out loud will help your consciousness to be more present with the compossible. Use your imagination to stretch your perception. Then pay attention to the immediacy of the moment. How are you feeling internally? What is going on externally? What has recently happened? What do you foresee coming? Test your perceived limitations. Are they real or are they from the past? The more you are able to be in alignment with the actual, the more influence you will have to bring the imaginative compossible into the actual. This is how to most effectively create an environment for expediting the healing process.
